 Product DescriptionThe Vertex VX-4100 is the latest high tier vehicle radio from Vertex. This versatile radio is perfect for use in taxis or for public safety applications, where more advanced features are required. These advanced radios have 5-tone signalling, making the radio capable of several other advanced features such as Emergency Mode and Remote Stun. The 2-tone encode/decode feature enables the radio to be used for selective calling and several other calling functions such as caller identification to see who is calling you.The features of the VX-4100 can be utilised via the 3 dealer programmable buttons on the front of the radio. We will program the features you need and leave out the ones you don't want. The Vertex VX-4100 has 8 channels and 3 programmable buttons. If this is not sufficient for your requirements, please see the VX-4200, which comes with 501 channels and 5 programmable buttons. It also has a high contrast LCD display and direct channel access.
