The new Motorola XTNi is the latest rugged license-free portable, designed for everyday business use. It supersedes the XTN446, with a range of approximately 8km, depending on terrain. Built to Military specification & IP55, the XTNi comes with a long life Li-Ion battery.

When Motorola replaced the XTN446 , they opted for the new model to be available with or without LCD screen. The Motorola XTNi is the more basic option, with no LCD and an extra channel selector knob at the top of the radio instead of up/down buttons. If you prefer an LCD model with up/down buttons to select the channel, you may wish to purchase the XTNiD.
