The IC-M23 also comes with the FLOATN FLASH feature where the radios LED will flashes bright red if it is dropped in water, even if the radio is turned off making it easy to find whether its day or night. The IC-M23 is also very easy to use with its large LCD, key backlighting & easy to use scan & favorite channel functions.
